What is Saint Philip House?
It is not a single place. In fact, it is best described as a doorway to an improved life. Saint Philip House is a multi-faceted program that addresses the housing and social service needs of people who have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, as well as their families and loved ones.
In 1994, Saint Philip House opened its first facility housing residential units and administrative offices. In 1996, another residential property was purchased. Additional rental properties are acquired as needed.
In 2000, construction of a community room was
completed. This room has allowed Saint Philip House to expand its support and education programs to the surrounding HIV/AIDS community.
Educational entertainment and health enhancing programs
are regularly held in this room.
